Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026

Privacy PolicyTerms of Use

Sustainable Growing Solutions, LLC (“SGS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains in this Privacy Policy how information is collected, used, and disclosed through the SGS website and the inquiry, grower recommendation, and distributor application forms that link to this policy (the “Services”).

This policy covers the SGS website and related responses to your inquiries. It does not cover independent websites you visit through links on our site.

1. Information you provide

We collect information you choose to submit. Depending on the form or your communications with us, this may include:

  • Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and any address, city, state, ZIP code, country, or region you provide.
  • Grower information: crops, approximate acreage, growing region, goals, current use of biological products, and details you share about your operation, challenges, or products of interest.
  • Distributor information: company name, website, operating territory, customer categories, approximate number of growers or acres served, current offerings, experience with biological products, and reasons for your interest in SGS.
  • Communications: questions, comments, additional information, and our correspondence about your request.

Fields marked as required are needed to submit the relevant form. Other fields are optional. You can also contact us by phone or email. Please avoid including financial account details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your inquiry. Only provide information you are authorized to share.

2. Website and submission information

Our website hosting and form-processing providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, referring page, and request time as part of delivering and protecting the Services.

When you request a recommendation or apply to become a distributor, we also record the page and button that led you to the form, relevant product or resource context, available campaign tags and referral information, a submission identifier, and the submission time. This helps us understand your request, identify how you found SGS, and avoid processing the same submission repeatedly.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • receive and respond to inquiries;
  • understand your operation and discuss SGS products or biological strategies that may be relevant;
  • evaluate distributor inquiries and discuss possible next steps;
  • organize follow-up and maintain records of our communications;
  • connect you with a contracted, authorized SGS distributor when we determine that the distributor can better serve your needs;
  • send SGS marketing communications about our products, services, and related agricultural information, subject to your choices and any consent required by law;
  • understand which website pages and campaigns lead to inquiries and improve the Services;
  • operate the website, process forms, protect against spam and misuse, and troubleshoot errors; and
  • comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

The recommendation forms collect information for review by our team. They do not generate an automated agronomic decision or guarantee a particular recommendation, product result, or business relationship.

4. How information is disclosed

People and providers supporting SGS. Information may be accessed by authorized people working for or on behalf of SGS and by providers supporting website hosting, form processing, data storage, communications, technical maintenance, and related professional services. These providers process information for the services they perform. The current website uses Netlify for hosting and form collection.

Authorized SGS distributors. SGS may share your contact details and relevant inquiry information with a contracted independent distributor authorized to sell SGS products when we determine that the distributor is better positioned to serve your needs than SGS directly. We share this information only to help the distributor respond to your inquiry and provide SGS-related products or support. We do not sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for unrelated marketing.

Legal and safety needs. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, protect people or property, address suspected misuse, or enforce legal rights.

5. Browser storage and tracking

We use temporary storage in your browser to remember the landing page, referral source, and campaign information for your visit. This lets a recommendation request retain its source as you move between SGS pages. This attribution record contains visit information, rather than the contact details you type into the form. A new campaign or a period of inactivity can start a new attribution record.

You can control or clear website storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may limit our ability to associate an inquiry with its source, but the forms are designed to work when that storage is unavailable.

The current website does not include advertising pixels or tools for tracking visitors across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. It does not change its operation in response to a browser “Do Not Track” setting. External websites you choose to visit have their own practices and controls.

6. Sale and advertising use

SGS does not sell personal information collected through the Services or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Lead information is used for SGS's own follow-up and marketing and for the distributor referrals described above, subject to the choices described below.

If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notices, choices, or consent mechanisms required before the new practice begins. Browser signal and opt-out obligations will be assessed against the practices and laws that apply at that time.

7. Communications and your choices

We use the contact details you provide to respond to your request, discuss the information or relationship you asked about, and send SGS marketing communications where permitted by law. We obtain consent when required. Submitting one of the current website forms does not automatically enroll you in an automated marketing text-message program.

You can tell us if you no longer want follow-up about an inquiry. You can opt out of SGS marketing emails using the unsubscribe instructions in a message or by contacting Dave Olson at dolson@sgs-ag.com. We may still need to send non-marketing communications required to handle an existing request, business relationship, or legal obligation.

8. Retention and security

We retain submissions and related records as needed to respond to requests, support business relationships, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the information, the purpose for keeping it, and applicable requirements. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to legal requirements and other applicable exceptions.

We use technical and administrative measures designed to protect information, including restricted access to form records and administrative tools. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Access, correction, deletion, and other requests

Contact us using the details below if you want to ask about information you submitted, correct it, request a copy, or request deletion. Please identify the request and the contact information you used with SGS. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or your authority to act for another person. Do not send identity documents unless we explain what is needed and how to provide them securely.

Depending on your location and whether a privacy law applies to SGS, you may have additional rights, including access, correction, deletion, portability, restrictions on certain uses, or an appeal of a request decision. We will handle requests according to applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by that law. Some information may need to be retained or withheld where the law permits or requires it.

10. Children and international visitors

The Services are intended for adults and agricultural businesses and professionals. They are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services, contact us so we can review the issue and take appropriate action.

SGS operates in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location. This notice does not ask you to waive rights or safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the Services change. The published policy will show its effective or last-updated date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
